Piran
After the stormy weather was chasing us out of Bled, we decided to explore a new Slovenian city, this one is also close to water, more specifically to the Adriatic Sea.
This is a Slovenian version of an Italian city: narrow streets, sea view and compact houses. We like it! Evidence: one big smile on the square:
Before more walking, how could we not stop on a square and try the local fish / local dish = a local fish dish ... ? Also, we loved the beer too ;) :
Walking through the port is exciting:
I think my camera was not prepared to see dolphins today, but there they were, 3 of them suddenly became the biggest attraction in the city (after the ice-cream stand, of course):
Exploring the coastline carefully:

I am hereby posing with the rooftops, they remind me of beautiful Prague:
One quick picture before we jump into the sea:
These pirats have been in Piran. I am happy that I am wearing my sailor t-shirt.
